SKINS
Field Recordings Skins is a skin-contact wine made from a blend of grapes from California. Extended maceration on the skins for an orange wine that smells of dried fruit and honey, with ripe tropical fruit on the palate.
La Petite Perriere Sauvignon Blanc
The Petite Perriere Sauvignon Blanc presents a beautifully intense pale green color with slightly golden tints. The nose is an explosion of fruits: very ripe fruits, yellow fruits and exotic fruits blend peel mixed. The wine in the mouth is clean and precise, with aromas of fresh fruit that evolve on a mineral frame very refreshing. This Sauvignon drinks in its youth to appreciate its freshness and its aromatic expression.
La Petite Perriere Pinot Noir
Crimson hue with ruby tints. The fairly powerful nose exudes notes of morello cherries and red berries, which are followed by an array of spice and vanilla aromas. This luscious, well-balanced wine is lovely and light on entry to the palate where it replays the fruity and spicy notes found on the nose.
Lucashof Riesling "Forster Kabinett"
This zesty and dry Riesling from Germany is a straw color and presents inviting aromas of wet slate, white peach, ash, honeydew, and a spice note. Slightly creamy and round mouthfeel on the palate, it's racy and very clean, with vibrant medium-plus acidity and a medium body. There are flavors of lime, white peach, honeydew and hints of flint and pineapple.
Cantina di Casorzo Ruby Dolce Malvasia
This wine displays ripe cherry, raspberry, and strawberry fruits are mingled with hints of spice, cassis, and candied currants. It finishes with a refreshing spritz! It is great by itself but also makes a fantastic base wine for Red Sangria.
Dowie Doole Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
The wine presents a gorgeous dark red to purple color. It shows a powerful, soft bouquet with sweet black currants, blueberries and a touch of mint. On the palate berry-spicy, cassis and sloe, black olives, graphite, cedar and finest dark chocolate. Impressive length.
